• Classes in various genres, styles, and techniques with some of the most leading, working, hiring, & sought-after choreographers and dancers in the industry.
• Each year the convention is based on a theme or concept, which is what drives the lesson in each teacher’s class.

• Auditions for LA & NY based agencies
• Auditions for colleges across the globe
• Audition for the KinFigure Kollective

KinFigure Kinvention is more than just another dance convention—it’s an experience, a piece of each teacher’s journey brought to life in one powerful event. What sets it apart is how it blends the electric energy and size of a big convention with the close-knit connection of a small one, creating an unforgettable space for dancers to grow. But what truly defines us is our culture—one that radiates love and high energy while also challenging and pushing dancers to reach their fullest potential. It’s a balance that fuels both passion and progress. The energy in the room, the hard work, and the inspiration—it’s something that cannot be explained through words, it is something that has to be lived and you have to feel for yourself!

WHAT IS THE KINFIGURE KOLLECTIVE?

KinFigure Kollective is our dance collective, family, mentorship program, and so much more. You get one of a kind hands on training opportunities with some of the industries best, professional job opportunities, Audition opportunities, Referral to Dance Agencies in Los Angeles and New York, and so much more. Most importantly you’ll find a dance family unlike any other. Genuine people who love, care, and support each other along one another’s journey.

Why the theme the unknown for this year’s experience?

For KinFigure Kinvention 2025, we chose “The Unknown” because it’s something that challenges not just dancers and artists, but people in every walk of life. The fear of uncertainty, stepping into something unfamiliar, and navigating the discomfort of not knowing what’s next—these are universal struggles.

As dancers, we experience “The Unknown” in so many ways: taking a risk, putting ourselves out there for auditions, trusting the process of growth, and pushing past limits we once thought defined us. But this theme goes beyond dance. It speaks to the moments in life where we’re unsure, where doubt creeps in, and where we have to decide whether to let fear hold us back or use it to propel us forward.

At this year’s Kinvention, Through movement, conversation, and connection, we’ll explore what it means to embrace uncertainty, trust ourselves, and step boldly into what’s next. This isn’t just about dancing—it’s about growth, resilience, and learning to thrive in “The Unknown”.
